Jam in 65428 Rüsselsheim

Hello! I’m new to Germany and was pointed to this as I was asking somewhere else about finding groups to play and learn with.
I’ll message Nico and Slowjoe and I hope to meet up with you all and play and get better!!!

Hi Lex,

we are a small goup of forum members meeting approx. once per month to
jam around using IrealPro playbacks or - if available - piano accompaniment.
We mainly play realbook stuff and jazz and blues arrangements.

There is no fixed focus, we just meet to play, to talk, to improvise and to have fun.

I will keep you informed about the date of our next meeting, hopefully at the end of January.
I willalso provide location information for you.

Of course there are hidden traps. So you should be be prepeared to be heavily
confronted with German language.....

Count me in! I have near zero german. But I will work on at least understanding musical stuff!!!

So far I have "Meine frau ist schon und klug". I think I have that right.

Oh. And "eine bier, bitte"

So far so good, but I'm ready to learn some sax and music stuff!!!!

Die heutige Session durfte ich zusammen mit @Manno und @Sfalexi durchziehen
nachdem eine Absagewelle die Teilnehmerzahl drastisch reduziert hatte .

Wir 3 kannten einander noch nicht, hatten aber eine schöne Zeit beim Zusammenjammen.
Da @Sfalexi kaum Deutsch spricht war die kleine Teilnehmerzahl sogar ein Vorteil.

Mir hat es jedenfalls viel Spass gemacht.

Freue mich auf das nächste mal...
